About the stylist

Kallisti Salon was founded in 2017 by Deyah, professional cosmetologist for over 20 years, and two-time Suzi Bass Award nominee.

At age 12, what started as a way of standing out for Deyah, soon become a passion:

 

“I began making my own costumes around 12 years old...I started making my own costumes because I wanted something original. I didn’t want to show up to the party in the same costume as someone else. Eventually, a friend convinced me to do something with my costumes. I did a few photoshoots, then the next thing you know I’m designing whole shows for professional theatre.”

At the age of 15, Deyah began apprenticing as a stylist and became a professional before her 18th birthday. While learning the industry, she continued honing her skills as a costume designer and professional makeup artist. This paved the way for what would later become Kallisti Salon.

From receptionist to lead stylist to educator. Deyah held every role in the industry, gaining a reputation for her fierce passion and attention to detail.

Today, Deyah is the lead stylist of Kallisti Salon and a professional costume designer. She’s friendly, dedicated, and experienced, and she’s ready to help you step into your new self.
